Anointed Locs™ Studios Cancellation, Rescheduling, Payment & Appointment Policy At Anointed Locs™ Studios, every appointment is intentionally reserved to provide a luxury, healthy-scalp experience. Our time, resources, supplies, scheduling, and travel arrangements are planned in advance to ensure each client receives quality, personalized care. By booking an appointment and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the following policies. 📌 1. Non-Refundable Payment Policy ALL PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. This policy applies to all payments submitted to Anointed Locs™ Studios, including but not limited to: Appointment deposits Partial payments Installment payments Advance payments toward a service balance Payments made in full Payments submitted before the final service balance is due Payments are allocated toward your scheduled service and may be used to facilitate advance preparation, supplies, salon arrangements, scheduling, and other business expenses associated with your appointment. Once a payment has been submitted, clients may not independently change the agreed payment arrangement or request a refund simply because they have changed their minds, sent an amount that was not requested, or no longer wish to proceed under the original arrangement. Payment Authorization & Communication Clients must follow the payment instructions provided by the studio. Only the deposit or payment amount specifically requested or agreed upon is necessary to secure an appointment. Sending additional funds without prior discussion or confirmation does not constitute approval of a new payment arrangement. Clients must communicate with the studio before submitting additional payments outside the agreed schedule. Any payment dispute will be reviewed in accordance with the original booking agreement, the circumstances of the transaction, and applicable law. Nothing in this policy waives any refund rights that cannot legally be waived. 📌 2. Appointment Deposits All appointment deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Deposits secure the time reserved for your appointment and are credited toward the agreed service total in accordance with the booking terms. Deposits do not guarantee that additional services, changes to the original service, or alternative payment arrangements will be approved. Please confirm your service selection, appointment date, and payment arrangement before submitting your deposit. 📌 3. 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement All cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service total, subject to applicable law and the terms agreed upon at booking. Any amount already paid will be accounted for when determining the applicable balance or cancellation fee. Cancellation fees do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund. 📌 4. Same-Day Cancellations & Rescheduling Same-day cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 12 hours of the appointment may incur a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service total, subject to applicable law and the agreed booking terms. Rescheduling requests must be communicated directly to the studio. New dates are subject to availability and approval. A request to reschedule does not automatically cancel the original appointment or establish a new payment arrangement. 📌 5. No-Show Policy Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without providing notice constitutes a no-show. No-shows may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service total, subject to applicable law and the agreed booking terms. Repeated no-shows or failure to comply with studio policies may result in restrictions on future booking privileges. 📌 6. Late Arrival Policy A 10-minute grace period is provided. After the grace period, the appointment may be shortened, modified, or rescheduled depending on the time lost and the service required. A fee of 50–100% of the scheduled service total may apply when permitted by law and agreed booking terms. Clients who arrive too late to complete the service safely and properly may be required to reschedule. 📌 7. Retie Maintenance & Weekly Fees Retie pricing is based on maintaining your crown within the recommended four-week maintenance schedule. Additional fees apply to account for the extra time and labor required for extended maintenance: 4 weeks: Regular retie price 5 weeks: Regular price + $25 6 weeks: Regular price + $50 After 6 weeks: $50 per additional week beyond the six-week schedule For example, if your regular retie price is $250: 4 weeks: $250 5 weeks: $275 6 weeks: $300 7 weeks: $350 8 weeks: $400 9 weeks: $450 Additional fees may apply when extended service is required due to excessive growth, loc count, density, buildup, or the condition of the hair and scalp. Any applicable additional charges will be communicated before proceeding when reasonably possible. 📌 8. Service Preparation Requirements To protect the health of your locs and scalp and ensure your appointment begins on time, please arrive with: Clean hair and scalp No heavy products or excessive buildup No braids, ponytails, updos, or styles requiring takedown before the service, unless previously discussed and approved Failure to arrive properly prepared may result in additional fees, modification of the service, or refusal of service when necessary. Any additional charges must be communicated and handled in accordance with applicable law and the agreed service terms. 📌 9. Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances We understand that unexpected situations may arise, including illness, accidents, emergencies, or severe weather. Please contact the studio as soon as possible if an unexpected circumstance affects your appointment. Documentation may be requested when appropriate. Requests will be reviewed individually. Any applicable refund, rescheduling, or other resolution will be handled in accordance with the booking agreement and applicable law. 📌 10. Payment Disputes & Communication Clients are encouraged to contact Anointed Locs™ Studios directly with questions or concerns regarding payments, appointments, or services. All payment-related concerns will be reviewed using the booking confirmation, applicable policies, payment records, and communications between the client and studio. Clients are responsible for confirming payment instructions before sending funds. The studio reserves the right to decline unapproved payment arrangements and to restrict future booking privileges when permitted by law.
